The annual Silver Balls in the City, our original and oldest charity tournament, returns to The Avenue Cafe at 6 pm on December 29 at 6 pm. We will have a charity raffle (one free ticket for all participants), holiday snacks, and festive fun. The cost to enter is $10 plus coin drop and the charity beneficiary is our longtime partner the Capital Area Humane Society.
The format of the tournament will be “fair strikes,” meaning that you will play in a group and receive 0/1/1/2 strikes or 0/1/2 strikes. After a set number of strikes you are out of the tournament. The last one standing wins! We will play 5, 6, or 7 strikes depending on turnout.
